Orthodontic Tips for the General Dentist
Orthodontic Tips for the General Dentist
Dr. Robert Bond will present the treatment methods he uses to provide orthodontic care to his patients. This course is ideally suited for the general dentist already providing orthodontic care to patients. Diagnosis is especially critical to the general dentist providing orthodontic services. A simplified, yet comprehensive system of mechanics will be presented. Many materials used in general dentistry can be used in Orthodontics to help simplify the process. The following topics will be covered: Expansion appliances; Twin Block Appliance for Class II correction; indirect bonding to allow for quick and precise bracketing; wire sequencing and appointment intervals; case finishing and elastics; lower fixed retention; an invisible upper retainer that does not break; and much more.

Dr. Robert Bond is presently in a general practice limited to orthodontics and TMD, focusing on a full range of orthodontic care for children and adults, including Invisalign. Dr. Bond has been in dentistry for 41 years. Since 2004, his practice has focused on orthodontics and TMD. He is a senior instructor and active member of the International Association of Orthodontics. He has 30 years of teaching experience and is co-founder of Comprehensive Straight Wire Program.
